FTV Proclad International LTD is a worldwide market and technological leader in the protective weld cladding of pipeline components. It is licensed under API specification 5LD, for the processing of clad steel pipe. Only a minority of companies worldwide have achieved this level of accreditation. Proclad is the second. The auotomated protective clad surfacing systems apply high integrity corrosion resistant alloys, including Inconel 625 and 825, Alloy C276 and C22, 300 and 400 series Stainless Steels. This is to a variety of substrates such as Carbon Manganese, Low Alloy, Martensitic and Ferric Stainless Steels in sizes from 2” (50mm) upwards, and wall thickness of 0.25” (6mm) and above. This process is proven to significantly enhance the service life of new components. It can also be used to refurbish and upgrade components that have already been in service. Cladding material types and thicknesses can be selected to meet the service environment. Every component part of a pipeline system can be clad.
